Hero Set-up for my Mesmer
Hi
I cant really figure out which 3 heroes to take along, when playing in HM.
Should i just go for the regular triple nec? or should i take something totally different?
My Build: [Visions of Regret][empathy][backfire][cry of pain][glyph of lesser energy][power drain][pain inverter][air of superiority]
Thats my build, i kinda dont wanna go for the Discord build/hero setup
Thanks guy
/Ash

Triple necro with some adjustments for the area you are doing should be enough.
I'd switch power drain for some more stable e-management skill , it's kinda hard to interrupt with the 50% cast speed increase.

Hmm thats a decent mes bar...although as the fella above me said id drop pdrain for auspicius in hard mode...and probably drop that air thingy for GoLE
as for heroes...i run a VoR bar(changed up a bit depending on the area) with 3 RoJ mo/e's using
Ray of Judgment
Smite Condi
Smite Hex
Reversal of Damage
Heavens Delight/Divine Healing
Smiter's Boon
Divine Boon
Res/GoLE/Whatever(i usually bring at least 1-2 heroes with a hardres though, just incase)

With you being a caster, I think DiscordWay would work better for you than SabWay.

So... VoR is good with discordway due to AoE hex. A condition can be put on easily enough, or just rely on the conditions from the necros. Give them enfeebling blood or weaken armor and with VoR u are set.

Try Illussions line with Wandering eye and Clumsiness They do a lot more total AOE damage than the single target Backfire. Use Fragility as your pre-hex for CoP, the 20s damage will add up with conditions from your Sabway or Discord necors.

Also, the OP's bar mainly kills through enemy actions, so 'e'd benefit more from Discord's fast-paced, direct dmg, rather than waiting for the enemies and minions to do all the work through Sabway.

He still has to bring 4 henchmen, one of which is most likely a physical. That solves the problem with [[Splinter Weapon] (actually for that skill alone it is work bringing a physical ).
Additionally he posted that he doesn't want to play Discordway. Yes, of cause it would be an awesome build.

Could also team with another player and his or her heroes, but I did say "probably," no?

I second the smite hero idea. For me, Sabway feels a bit slow and you already said that the Discord setup was something you didn't wanna do. Trippie Hippie's build looks good, but I'd squeeze in [aegis] somewhere. Also, maybe drop the third monk for an MM if you got lots of corpses.
...Discordway is still my fav though

I suggest putting a skill like [Enfeebling Blood] on your bar to lower the melee damage in HM if you are using the 3 smiters combo.
